Did these a few months ago. Background buildings were modeled in Sketchup, then brought into PhotoShop and colored like the rest. Long story short: as much as I enjoyed working on this, the pages took entirely too long and it became hard on my bad wrist. :'| So I lost interest. Wasn't really worth hurting myself over.
Soooo I'm looking for someone who's interested in helping me out with the flat colors on this comic project. Nothing fancy, just basic solid color blocking. I use PhotoShop CS5.1- all I require is that the colorist is able to utilize layers and keep the colors separate from the lineart and background. I probably won't even have you colorblock any of the backgrounds, only the characters and props.
If you're interested, drop me a note! I'll send you a test page. This is unpaid- but you will receive full credit for your contribution AND I will love you forever. ACCEPT MY LOVE. D:<
Oh geez...Helping you out would be awesome but, I don't think my skills are great like yours, also I really don't have time to do anything! I hope you find someone soon!! I wish to see this continued!!!
Love how indifferent Scott is towards this... surprise.
I'd gladly help you up with the comic if I didn't know how awful I am not only with colors, but with keeping deadlines. May I suggest Flatten and MultiFill plugins for Photoshop, though? They make flat-coloring an automated process.
Gotta love Scott's face on the last panel
